In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of agents in your territory( Central Africa) and increasing their sales.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of agents in your territory.
  • Support and supervise the activation of the agent (retail and/or digital).
  • Be responsible for the life cycle of the agent in its territory.
  • Oversee the productivity of the points of sale to ensure that they generate the transactions for the business.
  • Work closely with Business Development, Marketing, Operations and the Country Head to deliver upon country growth targets.
  • Responsible for ensuring new agents reach benchmark volumes through training, merchandising and other support as needed until benchmark levels are achieved.
  • Drive location ramp- up plan, monitors & reports.
  • Help marketing to ensure WU programs are supported in location.
  • Deal with Agent/location issues and hand them off to internal teams.

Role Requirements

  • Equivalent experience preferably with a solid client-facing sales experience in banking or financial institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the Central Africa market is required to be successful in this role.
  • Ideally, a bachelor’s degree in business administration or Marketing
  • Ability to work individually, or collaborate with others in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and manage tight timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate, present, and listen to agents and build trust and confidence with them.
  • Ability to be goal orientated with a flexible but detailed mindset.
  • Advanced English and French languages are required.
